Glue 03:18
LYRICS: Endless miles. Is it day or is night? In pale light, the headlamps shining on an open road. It's the storm of a lifetime. Doesn't seem to matter anymore. We drove all night in the thickest rain I've ever seen with thunder roaring. Bad daydreams as we are drifting off to sleep and we stare at a mountain with unconscious eyes and... Oh, this might be the worst that I've ever dreamed. I'm still awake back in my mind. I'm thinking slow. This is a twelve hour ride that still has eight to go and only four behind. We should have stayed in Tennessee. The black of the storm would have never swallowed me, would have never found us, and the weather would have let us be. Let us be. Let us lay. Let us sleep. Let us rest in peace. Oh, let us rest in peace. Will the mountains let us go? I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see. Will the mountains let us go? I don't know. I hear their voices calling me. Will the mountains let us go? I don't know. All we have is road to lead. Will the mountains let us go? God only knows if they'll crush us or they'll let us free. Let us rest in peace.

LYRICS: In this country, how do you know, with so many options and nowhere to go? I'll follow this time. No gas. No money. We'll have to walk. Fifteen miles. There's time to talk. You take lead this time. I will find us the company. We've walked for hours. I can see what's not to see. Out in the rain. Through brown and black and shades of grey. See red, white, blue. A flag with no star.

LYRICS: So, I am leaving and this day must end. And, where I am going, I won't come back again. But, I'll wait on the other side right where I am. When I close my eyes you'll know when I land. For me it's so hard to believe in this world. We war for black liquid and still starve the poor. We pay taxes to fund things, yeah. Who knows what for? I'll wait for you to walk on through the door. I remember when I was still young. My father would craft me my pretend guns and the first thing I'd do is point them at those I love and pull the trigger until they were gone. We may lose our loved ones sometimes. Children die before their parents kill them with lies. The youngest go first. Let's form into lines and wait for them to ring our necks and our spines. Then we'll fall. So, I am leaving and this day must end And, where I am going, I won't come back again. But, I'll wait on the other side right where I am. When I close my eyes, you'll know when I land.

LYRICS: It's a poison to you. It's made in factories. Gears and grinds and tubes will make you what you eat. We may live a long time but end up strapped to beds. Pills and drugs and binds are what lead us to death. I don't trust your medicine. It kills my liver and my mind. What will fix the side effects? What will break inside? I don't know what will happen. There's a lot to be described. We'll do what fashion tells us. We'll eat ourselves alive. And I ask you, "Don't go back there." I wonder if you care. Don't go back there. I wonder if you care. I say, "I need a reason to stay. I need a reason." A reason. Fall back. I know we can save us. Reason to know we can win.

LYRICS: Long travels ahead. Our destination's on an island. I noticed your hands. They're worn out but you're still going. I have no idea where you've been and I've never been to San Fransisco. The west coast is a foreign land. If that's the land of promise, I must go. Promise that we'll have a future then. A little house where we'll make new friends. If we fail, we can't come back home. We'll have to make it. We'll do it alone. Long travels ahead. Your hands are bloody but we'll begin. On our way to our new home, we'll have to do it alone. Don't stop now. We're not abandoning them just yet. We'll come back home. We won't die before we can.

Brothers 01:44
LYRICS: Brother save me. You I can't see. Please, don't leave me alone. Of my brothers three, you are sad, sick, crazy. Please, just leave me alone.
7.
LYRICS: Seeing all their half closed eyes, shaky hands, and wrinkled necks. Unsure answer. Unsure choice. Probing passiveness and sweat. Pushing words into their mouths. Pushing lead into a dot. Touching pages they don't like. Touching thoughts that they don't want. Filing in. Filing out. Filing in. Loose grip. Please, fall from my hand. Loose lips. Loose plans. Loose grip. Please, fall from my life. Loose expectations. Filing in. Filing out. Filing in. Filing out. Clocking in. Clocking out. Clocking in. Here's your paper. Her'e your desk. Here's your future. Are you happy yet? Here's your role. Here's your cage. Here's your robe. Here's your name. Are you fulfilled? Are you brave? Are you asleep? What's your age? Are you complete? Are you sad? It's not scary. It's really not that bad. Filing in. Clocking in.

LYRICS: Burned again but, you know, "you're gonna learn your lesson next time." Those wounds may heal slow but we've got nowhere to be. And I hope we don't get that low, to give up and never find the fastest way to grow and run until we're free. When was the last time you imagined how it could be and lead yourself to find anything you believe? They try and wall us back and make it hard to breathe but I can fit through cracks, if you'll follow me. What the TVs say. "You're gonna learn your lesson next time." We can't travel by day but we've got nowhere to be. We've come too far delayed to give up and never find an end of the blame. We'll run until we're free. We're burned again. What the radios say. "You're gonna learn your lesson next time." We fly on cardboard planes but we've got nowhere to be. We've come too far to pray, to give up, and never find. These walls can't make us stay. We'll run until we're free.

The Circle 02:52
LYRICS: Time...alone...isn't the enemy. Brings out the worst in me. That's not the way to be. Turn...off...the computer screen. Popular TV. They won't let us dream. Time...alone...I don't feel aged. Though my mind is strange, I still earn my way. Work...forever...till the end. Until I'm sent around again. Don't be afraid. We're built for change. I'll stay the same if I change. Our little town will be gone. Our favorite trees will be gone. The river sounds will be gone. The factories will be gone. Kin and pets will be gone. You and me, we'll be gone. What we can't forget will be gone. All we can see will be gone.
10.
LYRICS: I'm falling out, just like they told me. Just like I scolded when I was young. I'm not afraid. I've seen so many things. I've planted my feet in this country. I'm not afraid of desire, of money, of life, of sin, of freedom, of women, of goals, of him.
11.
LYRICS: When we die, I'd like to imagine that we would be carried away to our own place and rest. If I'm leaving and you can't go with me, I'll send if I can. Everything will be alright. And I hope our last night together we'd look at the stars, take a walk, and share what we are. We might disappear at night. Tell the neighbors we are fine. Tell our children, "It's alright. In the morning comes the light." And I hope our last night together we'd look at the moon. The world is beautiful because of you.
