The Glow 03:34
LYRICS: Even now, I'm staring at a screen I'm blanking on a row. When I'm writing, all I can think of is the glow. Nothing's wrong with spending all your time and money on a joke when you need it way more than anyone you know. I see the value in the opposite. You're right. There has to be things that are hiding in the light: a record of everything you've ever looked at out of sight. They'll sell you out for your price. In the back of my mind is the Glow. I close my eyes to only light. Might fall. I'm not afraid if it's so. It's good to return to the night. At least I'll be back to what I know. Back again to my life. Look through me. I'm nothing more than a collection of your glass. I only take a little extra force to crack. We'll never move on if the best that we can do is in our past. We have to grow enough to make a change that lasts. I see no value in the things they say they meant. When we all know everyone we vote for is bent. It's just that I don't see a true savior in every soldier sent. I see it as just another resource that is spent. Everywhere in my mind is the glow. I close my eyes to only light. Falling, I'm not afraid to let go. It's good to return to the night. Now I feel like I'm back in my home. Back again to my life. I see the glow. We're never going back again. I am like glass. We're never going back again. I see the glow. Computer screens and magazines. I am like glass. Lists of me and hopes and dreams.

Unburied Man 02:23
LYRICS: Hallucinations, I know are inventions of mine though I see them out there. You can't escape the past even if you're aware. At the top, it's waiting for you if you go to the top of the stairs. The climb is a killer though. Most of it isn't fair. Trees in the sand, enough wind will topple them. "Planes into buildings is fair." Falling like dead birds to shotguns from way up there. Hallucinations, I know are perceptions of thoughts placed by those who should care. Trying to escape the past now that I'm aware. On the road. I feel more comfortable leaving than if I stay there. Hours spent searching in the dark to find a flare. Unburied man, a shovel reveals to my eyes while the survivor stares, who fell like the rest before them frozen and scared.

The Dream 04:04
Lyrics: In a dream, I can see it all. If it takes the rest of me, so be it. I can crawl. No contracts. We'll leave those behind. If we reach agreement then we'll take it as a sign. Our regrets, we can forget them now. A life for art is better than a vain attempt at crowns. Work can wait. You can let it pass. Money is just money, no matter how much that we have. Living in a dream. They'll rewrite our history. Living in a dream. What do you believe? I wish it was in you and me. That's what I believe. We still have to decide. This time I know I'm right. The meaning in our lives. It's hidden in the light. And in that book, there are two outcomes. I know and I don't like your endings so I'll make up my own. To resist is to take back our control. We don't ever have to see what's inside the folds. Living in a dream. I don't know what it means. What do you believe? I don't know what it means. We still have to decide. This time I know I'm right. The meaning in our lives. It's hidden in the light.

My Beliefs 03:23
LYRICS: Your love, it won't last again. It won't last again. Not this time. My heart, it won't break again. I won't let it end. Not this time. Tell him all those things again. The reason: control. I might never talk to him, the person you own. Now I intrude and offend. I enter your home. He'll believe you in the end. It's what he's told. It's my loss. Bury it. The devil knows to bury it. We'll play the song again. By the cross, bury it. Take and take and take a bit. When his life is spent. My love, I won't be sending. I won't be sending. Not this time. Your heart must not feel affection. Must not feel affliction in your life. It's his loss. Bury me. Disconnect has buried me. We'll read the book again. By the cross, my beliefs. It's taken all my life to see, my life isn't spent. I'll outlive sons. I'm the last one.
